Elites

Sword Brethren of the Kannas Crusade are amongst the most seasoned and accomplished warriors any Adeptes Chapter has to field.  Be it the boarding action of an enemy vessel, a planet strike into unknown conditions, or an armored assault against vastly more numerous foe, the Sword Brethren are found at the tip of the spear.  With centuries of battlefield experience, Brethren are experts in the use of not only power weapons and bolt weaponry, but also Terminator Armor and various heavy weaponry.  Most respected and revered amongst any fighting unit is the Apothecary, Brother Norman.

 

These five Black Templars have fought together for centuries, first developing their bond as Initiates of the Donian Crusade, and later as Sword Brethren of the Vengeance Crusade.  During advanced weapons training in the use of the Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield, all five Brethren diplayed prodigy-like prowess with the new weapons, and as would be expected, they informally (as its done with Black Templars) organized themselves into the Silver Shields.
